Committee awards LRIP contract to WK Construction and adopts flexible material-bid approach

Lance Achterberg moved to accept the material bids and to utilize the bidder most advantageous to the county at the time of need based on availability and price; Kathy Jo Locke seconded. The motion carried.
The motion authorizes staff to choose among prequalified or responsive material bidders on a project-by-project basis according to availability and price, rather than fixing a single bidder for future work. The committee recorded the motion as carried; the minutes do not include a roll-call tally or any recorded opposition.
