PEER report leaves $2.5M transfer for ALC review; $7M Maumelle request pulled

Senator Jonathan Dismang reported to the Arkansas Legislative Council that the Performance Evaluation and Expenditure Review (PEER) Subcommittee met Dec. 16 and reviewed several appropriation actions. One transfer request — Item C.1 — a $2.5 million fund transfer request by the Department of Energy and Environment’s Division of Environmental Quality for the Used Tire Program, was held for Legislative Council review.
Dismang also reported that Item F.14 — a Department of Agriculture request for Maumelle Water Excellence totaling $7,000,000 — failed to receive action from the subcommittee and was pulled from consideration at the agency’s request. The minutes record that both items were pulled from consideration by the agencies' request.
The minutes show the PEER report was otherwise adopted by voice vote; the held transfer will return to the council for action or additional review.
