The Mount Kisco Village Board on June 30 adopted three unanimous motions: it scheduled public hearings for July 14 on a proposed Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) local law and on proposed amendments to the village wireless code, and authorized Village Manager Edward Brancati to sign the 8th tolling agreement as presented.
Votes: Deputy Mayor Theresa Flora moved to schedule the BESS hearing; Trustee Angie Guerra seconded and the board voted 5-0 in favor. Mayor J. Michael Cindrich moved to schedule the wireless code hearing; Trustee Angie Guerra seconded and the board voted 5-0 in favor. Deputy Mayor Theresa Flora moved to authorize the Village Manager to sign the 8th tolling agreement; Trustee Angie Guerra seconded and the board voted 5-0 in favor.
Other business: Village Manager Edward Brancati announced village offices will be closed Friday, July 4, 2025. The meeting closed at 7:58 p.m.
