Saint Marys council adopts data center, power-generation zoning changes and property maintenance rule; approves multiple resolutions

Council also approved Resolution 26-12 to accept $7,500 in county liquid fuels tax funds to purchase 1B limestone for road maintenance and shipping uses; Resolution 26-13 to amend and record a deed restriction for Memorial Park so the city can close out a 2006 federal Land and Water Conservation Fund grant audited by DCNR; and Resolution 26-16 to designate Executive Assistant Rachel Hughes as the city’s open-records officer.
In addition, the council approved two Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) modifications for fiscal years 2022 and 2023 to repurpose funds toward construction of an ADA pathway and bleachers at Memorial Park’s PFL field after staff reported preliminary approval from DCD and that the public hearing received no comments.
