JD, who led the construction briefing, said site grading, subgrade and utility tie‑ins are largely in place and estimated the projects are about 65–70% complete. He said the turf installer plans to schedule soccer, baseball and softball turf installation together and that bleachers for several fields are expected to ship in July. “We’re approaching about the 65 to 70% range of being completed,” JD said.
JD identified components still to finish: final lifts for soccer fields, a concrete wall around turf edges, fencing and a 30‑day cure period for newly poured tennis courts. He added that the support building will contain bathrooms and team rooms for user groups and that the parking lot work includes utility tie‑ins and paving; district staff expect parking and restrooms to be ready for the start of school. The district also set early August and late‑August target dates for some uses and events (a grand opening and the first football game were both referenced as August openings).
