Mount Kisco board adopts several resolutions and routine items on July 14; bills totaling $1.81M approved

At its July 14 meeting the Mount Kisco Village Board acted on several resolutions and routine items.
The Board amended the Village Fee Schedule to establish a fee of $1.50 per hour to park and charge an electric vehicle in designated charging spaces and a $25 fine for vehicles occupying an EV charging space without charging. The resolution passed unanimously.
The Board also authorized a Consolidated Funding Application for $2,000,000 under the New York State Climate Smart Communities Grant Program for sidewalk and bicycle lane additions, certifying $1,000,000 in Village matching funds; that resolution passed unanimously. The Board approved a SEQR Type II determination for Wallace Drive and scheduled public hearings to consider amendments to several code chapters (Alcoholic Beverages, Streets & Sidewalks, Zoning, and housekeeping code changes) on August 11 and September 2, 2025 as noted in the agenda.
The Board authorized the Village Manager to sign amended contracts with four fire companies; that authorization passed but recorded Trustee Karen B. Schleimer as Nay. The Board adopted a resolution authorizing the discontinuance of a pending appellate appeal in litigation involving Marsh Sanctuary, Inc. The Board approved payment of bills submitted July 10, 2025 for May and June 2025 across funds: General $375,168.71; Water $827,890.46; Sewer $31,811.89; Capital $536,630.91; Library $27,107.40; Trust $14,164.41; Total $1,812,773.78.
