Mount Kisco approves settlement lowering assessments for 23 South Moger Avenue

The Board approved a settlement of tax‑certiorari petitions filed by the owner of 23 South Moger Avenue (23 South Moger LLC, tax parcel 69.81‑6‑14). The settlement resolves Village and Town proceedings for multiple assessment years and specifies proposed assessments and reductions for each year as recorded in the resolution.

For Village proceedings the resolution lists the following proposed settlements and reductions: 2020 proposed assessment $111,750 (original $170,000; reduction $58,250); 2021 proposed $115,940 (original $170,000; reduction $54,060); 2022 proposed $121,280 (original $170,000; reduction $48,720); 2023 proposed $114,560 (original $170,000; reduction $55,440); 2024 proposed $106,920 (original $170,000; reduction $63,080); and 2025 proposed $113,050 (original $135,000; reduction $21,950).

For Town proceedings the resolution lists: 2020 proposed $236,700 (original $285,000; reduction $48,300); 2021 proposed $248,000 (original $285,000; reduction $37,000); 2022 proposed $241,280 (original $285,000; reduction $43,720); 2023 proposed $219,520 (original $285,000; reduction $65,480); and 2024 proposed $231,495 (original $285,000; reduction $53,505). The minutes state the parties reached a mutually agreeable resolution and authorized the Village Attorney’s office to execute the settlement on behalf of the Village.

The motion to approve the settlement was made by Trustee Karen B. Schleimer, seconded by Deputy Mayor Theresa Flora, and carried unanimously. The minutes note the underlying petitions remain pending in Supreme Court, Westchester County, prior to this settlement.
