On Sept. 12 the Douglass Township Planning Agency approved the Sewage Facilities Planning Module for 749 Congo Road contingent on the applicant addressing Pennoni Engineering’s review comments.
Manager Andrew Duncan reported Pennoni reviewed the module and recommended proceeding with administrative finalization provided the applicant, identified in the minutes as Mr. Feola, adequately addresses the engineering review comments. Ms. Sara Carpenter moved to approve the module on Pennoni’s recommendation; Mr. Reitz seconded and the motion passed with all members recorded Aye.
The minutes note that the Board of Supervisors previously granted preliminary plan approval for 749 Congo Road on Aug. 19, 2024 and that a resolution was scheduled for Sept. 23, 2024. The Agency’s approval of the sewer planning module is a procedural step toward final subdivision/land development approval and does not itself authorize construction; compliance with Pennoni’s comments and any required permits remain prerequisites.
