Chief Duncan of Gilbertsville Fire & Rescue provided the emergency services report, summarizing July training (engineers night, hydrant/pump checks, and helicopter landing training) and saying helicopter landings will increase. He said the temporary landing area is at GF&R and that township staff will meet with Lehigh Valley Health Network to address issues related to landing sites.
Chief Duncan announced a Comedy Night fundraiser on Sept. 28 with a $40 ticket that includes dinner by Mission BBQ; raffles and BYOB were noted and raffle donations accepted. Mr. Landis of GACAS gave an ambulance report and publicly thanked Chairman Joshua Stouch for driving the ambulance while EMTs worked to stabilize a person in cardiac arrest. Copies of monthly emergency service reports were made available in the lobby.
No Bally Ambulance report was provided at the meeting.
