Residents urge township to expedite Douglass Meadows II closeout; staff to review developer agreements

Several residents from the Douglass Meadows II development spoke during public comment at the Aug. 8 Planning Agency meeting, expressing frustration that the subdivision has not been closed out. Residents asked, "how many times is the punchlist going to be addressed," and requested township assistance to expedite completion of outstanding items.
Manager Andrew Duncan and Solicitor Blake Dunbar said they will review the developer agreements to determine whether there are legal or administrative mechanisms to accelerate the closeout process. The exchange was recorded as a public comment request for staff and solicitor follow‑up; no formal action or motion was made by the Planning Agency during the meeting.
Also noted during the meeting were outstanding submission deadlines for other projects: Holly Road (awaiting final plan revisions to address NPDES permit, stormwater calculations and traffic concerns), 650 Englesville Road (Madison Walk) awaiting a final plan submittal and phasing details, and the ongoing review of 749 Congo Road’s second preliminary submission.
The Planning Agency adjourned the meeting at 7:32 p.m.
