Logan County reappoints veteran and library board members; Assessor presents three-year plan

The Logan County Board of Commissioners on June 17 reappointed two citizens to county boards. By unanimous vote the board reappointed Adelbert Farmer to the Veteran Service Board for a five-year term from June 1, 2026, through May 31, 2031. The board also reappointed Veronica Neal to the Library Board for a four-year term from June 1, 2026, through May 31, 2030.
After adjourning the regular meeting at 11:08 a.m., the commissioners convened as the Board of Equalization. Assessor/Clerk Jennifer Nicholson presented the county assessor's three-year plan for review. The Board of Equalization adjourned at 11:12 a.m. and set a date to hear protests on July 8, 2026. The next regular meeting of the Logan County Commissioners was scheduled for July 15, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.
No protests were recorded at the June 17 session and no further actions on the assessor plan were recorded at the meeting.
