Planning Commission approves Crescent Cove final plat

The Planning Commission on Aug. 25 approved the final plat for Crescent Cove, an applicant-led subdivision project that the commission found meets city specifications.
Nick Hester, the applicant, told the commission the work on the subdivision is complete. “We just have the work complete,” Hester said, noting the layout consists of about ten 1-acre lots with a few larger lots. Staff confirmed the plat conforms to the city’s standards and said the roadway is not private and is built to the specification required for city acceptance.
With staff signaling no outstanding issues, a commissioner moved to approve the final plat of Crescent Cove and another seconded the motion. The commission voted to approve the plat; no votes against were recorded on the record.
The approval clears the final administrative step before the city accepts the road and the plat is recorded, subject to any final ministerial paperwork required by staff.
