Administrator Myers submitted a report to the Quincy Sewer Authority on May 18 with updates on the wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) upgrade and related operational items.
Myers told the board that the township must submit for a DEP permit for the WWTP upgrade and that permit filing will likely take place within the next week or two. He also reported that the programmable logic control (PLC) panel upgrade is expected to be completed by the end of the month.
On staffing, Myers said the ad for a WWTP operator remains posted and the authority has not yet filled the position. The board took no formal action on the WWTP upgrade at this meeting; members received the report and retained the matter for future meetings as permitting and technical work proceed.
Solicitor Zachary Mills told the board he will have an item to discuss at the next meeting. The session ended at 6:58 p.m.
