The Jefferson Select Board met Sept. 23 at the Town Office and took several routine actions, approving minutes and a series of administrative items.
The board voted 2-0 to approve the Sept. 9, 2024 meeting minutes. During a public hearing on General Assistance maximums, Molly Rains, an LCN reporter, requested Lincoln County figures; town staff member Kim agreed to email those figures to her the next day. The board then voted 2-0 to accept the General Assistance Appendices for the 2024–2025 season.
The board signed and notarized a state-required Caregiver Retail Store Local Authorization Form for Robert Gagnon of Elevation Station and signed the renewal application and permit for Snow Tree Farm, operated by Nicholas Nicholson. The board also signed a payment agreement with Dennis Alexander concerning tax-acquired property.
Robert Clark Jr. completed his portion of the LRAP report; staff member Lynne will finish the remainder before submitting the form to the state. The board voted 2-0 to require charitable organizations to petition annually for municipal funding rather than receive recurring allocations.
Finally, the Select Board approved the Town Expense Warrant totaling $105,421.69. The meeting adjourned at 6:05 p.m.
