The record states the town approved the expense warrant in the amount of $834,974.15 (the minutes state: "Approved Town Expense Warrant in the amount of $834,974.15"). The minutes do not record a roll-call vote for the warrant.
Road issues reported by the Road Commissioner and callers include three trees down on Sennett Road and one tree on the island between North Mountain Road and Village Street; the Sennett Road trees were marked with ribbons and the Road Commissioner will mark the North Mountain/Village Street tree and arrange removal. Resident Peggy Hodgkins told the Road Commissioner beavers have dammed the culvert at her driveway and said she believes the town should address it; the Road Commissioner also reported beavers had blocked a culvert on Egypt Road. The minutes record that staff member Lynne will contact Donnie Clark about tree removal.
Valerie Jones called regarding three maple trees on North Mountain Road and said the town killed the middle tree; the board said it will investigate. A separate call asked when something would be done about Hallowell Road’s condition; the board discussed using LRAP funds for repairs and put a discussion of Hallowell Road back on the Sept. 23 agenda.
The meeting adjourned at 5:55 p.m., per the minutes.
