During routine business on July 1, the Jefferson Select Board signed a permit certificate for Elevation Station and reviewed and approved a renewal application for Snow Tree Farms; the Snow Tree Farms renewal passed 2-0 and both the renewal and the permit were signed. The board also signed quitclaim deeds: taxes paid by Davind Eon resulted in a quitclaim back to Zachary Genthner and Brittany Peirce, and Violet Knox paid her account in full and received a quitclaim deed.
The board signed scholarship certificates for Maia Hall and Abigail Kopp and received the Damariscotta Mills Dam project report for review; Lynne will follow up with Damariscotta on the dam. Because of the recent death of Ron Weeks, the alewives contract will be put out to bid this year; Lynne will research prior ads and bid materials from the last time the contract was advertised.
The board also voted to put roadside mowing out to bid and to review the Town Office and town roads snowplowing contracts with the goal of aligning contract cycles. The Select Board approved the town expense warrant in the amount of $37,149.12 and adjourned at 6:25 p.m.
