Nominating committee to present Katherine Haley as State Board of Education president nominee

The State Board of Education’s three-member nominating committee convened at 8:32 a.m. and approved a slate to present to the full board at the 9:00 a.m. meeting that nominates Katherine Haley for board president and a colleague identified in the transcript as Dr. Scott German (the transcript later spells the name “Hagerman”).

Member Kat, one of the nominating committee members who opened the discussion, said, "I would I would like to offer to my colleagues Katherine Haley as board president," and then named the nominee for vice president.
