Commission reviews finances, moves P.O. box and approves new business cards

At its April 9 meeting the Williamson County Historical Commission reviewed recent event receipts and program balances, approved administrative housekeeping actions and discussed ongoing reimbursements and expenses.
The minutes record $2,340 in net sales for a recent event (117 tickets sold) and $2,650 listed as event deposits; program funds were reported at $20,301.63 and the general fund at $1,689.26. The minutes list an AED refurbishment expense of $1,120 and note that some reimbursements were processed in a single check batch and mailed.
Commissioners discovered that the P.O. Box had not been renewed because it was being paid from an unrecognized card. Rachel Arnold said she had worked with the facilities director to secure a new box at 100 Wilco Way. The commission voted to relocate the P.O. Box to the new address; the minutes state Rachel will verify identity at the Georgetown post office to obtain the box.
A separate motion to obtain generic business cards listing the new P.O. Box address was approved; Danelle Houck presented a quote from a vendor, Ink Images. The minutes specify the cards will be generic and will not list specific names.
The calendar committee reported final sales and printing costs, but the minutes include a formatting error in the printing-expense figure; the commission deferred a decision on producing a 2027 calendar until the May meeting. Shelby moved to adjourn and Rachel seconded to close the meeting.
The minutes do not include roll-call vote tallies for the administrative motions; outcomes are recorded as "motion passes."
