Limington demonstrates upgraded town website and online 311 reporting

The Limington town manager demonstrated the town’s redesigned website at the Select Board meeting on May 21, highlighting a new 311 online reporting form residents can use to submit issues such as abandoned vehicles, potholes, street‑light outages, animal control concerns and code violations.
"When you're on the website, if you click 311, that brings you up to this screen here where you can report on abandoned vehicles, Blakefield concerns, debris in the right‑of‑way, potholes, street light concerns, animal control concerns, code violations," the town manager said while showing the live site to the meeting and remote viewers.
The manager also showed how agendas and packet PDFs are posted online, allowing residents to view meeting materials before meetings. A new historical property file archive — being populated map‑by‑map by the code enforcement clerk — now makes uploaded documents for particular lots accessible through the website.
Online assessing information from O'Donnell and Associates is posted on the site, and the manager said the town plans to add permitting and licensing forms so residents can download or eventually submit certain permits online.
Select board members praised the progress and noted the 311 feature and agenda access were items voters had requested at town meeting. The manager invited residents to submit suggestions for site improvements via email.
The website changes are intended to increase transparency and reduce in‑person trips for routine requests; the town did not announce an exact date for rollout of downloadable permitting forms.
