Commissioners said option two offered the best balance of oversight and cost savings (staff estimated about $6,800 in savings versus existing configuration). They asked administration to bring detailed budget figures and position descriptions to the budget committee for final adoption.
The board approved a motion directing the administrator to include the supervisor‑plus‑custodian option in budget committee discussions and to refine the job description for posting if hired.
