The Village of Catskill Board of Trustees unanimously approved several personnel actions at its March 12 meeting.

The board also approved promotion of Nicholas Craig to sergeant (motion moved by Trustee Dan Ward, seconded by Vice President Natasha Law) and approved hiring Deborah Soura as a part-time code enforcement secretary, pending a background check. The board approved Amanda Hickey as a new member of the Catskill Fire Department by unanimous motion.
All personnel items recorded in the minutes passed without recorded dissent. The minutes do not document employment start dates, salaries, or the background-check status beyond noting that Deborah Soura’s hire is pending such a check.
