The minutes state the agreement is expected to save taxpayer money and address the Village’s lack of a proper holding station for dogs awaiting owner pickup or a dog warden.
The local law will take effect upon adoption by the Board and filing with the New York State Secretary of State in accordance with Section 27 of the Municipal Home Rule Law, as noted in the adopted text.
