Frank Ayala, who identified himself as one of the new co-owners, told the board he and his business partner, Ramona, recently purchased the Town Hall Grill and planned to keep operations and staffing the same. “We recently purchased Town Hall Grill … operations are staying the same and staff is staying the same,” Ayala said, adding that state health inspections and related approvals were complete and the state was ready to sign off once the board acted.
Board members moved and seconded approval. The board approved the license by voice vote and agreed to sign the license documents following the meeting so the state could complete its final paperwork.
The vote was procedural and local officials did not record a roll-call tally in the meeting transcript. Ayala said the owners already hold liquor permits at two other restaurants in the state and had completed required inspections for the Town Hall Grill.
The board did not place conditions on the transfer; the applicants said any outstanding state steps were administrative and would follow the board’s approval.
The board moved on to other routine items after the approval; officials said they would all sign the license form that evening.
