3) Fundraising contract: The council authorized executing a contract not to exceed $70,000 with Northwest Philanthropic Partners for Phase One/feasibility work related to the Port Orchard Event Center campaign; the motion was moved by councilmember Morsey and seconded by councilmember Trinary and passed by voice vote.
Staff noted the city will return executed documents in forms acceptable to the city attorney and will follow up on contract deliverables and any implementation tasks identified in the consultant's feasibility report. The council also administratively canceled the next Tuesday meeting and scheduled reconvening in four weeks.
