The Rangely Town Council cleared several consent and routine items during the meeting. Members approved the Town Council minutes from February 25, 2025 and the February 2025 check register.
The council approved a special-event permit allowing CNCC Foundation to serve beer and wine at a foundation dinner planned for April 12, 2025. CNCC representatives said bartenders will be faculty and staff, beer will be served from kegs rather than cans to reduce leftover litter, and organizers said they will ensure cleanup and ID procedures. The council approved the permit with the organizers’ commitments.
Council also approved the liquor-license renewal for POW Liquor Company and approved two grant-related items: a JAG grant application for $191,500 to replace two fully equipped Chevy Tahoes (full cost and equipment) and a JAG application for $33,860 for related equipment. Both grant applications were recorded as approved for submission.
No further substantive debate occurred on these items at the meeting.
