Superintendent Dan Erickson presented instructional and assessment data at the Sonoita Governing Board meeting on Nov. 4 and noted the district received an A grade on the State School Report Card. Erickson reviewed the data that supported the grade during a scheduled Student Achievement presentation.
During the report the superintendent announced the district’s Students of the Month: Bronco Alcala (2nd grade) and Noah George (8th grade). Erickson also briefed the board on enrollment (110 students) and upcoming events, including the Veterans Day program scheduled for Nov. 10, 2025. The board listed the State Report Card and student achievement items among future study/agenda priorities.
The presentation was informational; there was no formal action tied directly to the report. The board subsequently proceeded to action items and routine approvals.
