Trustees to follow up with senator after Millennium Fund Home Rule Petition stalls in Senate

Trustees were informed the bill had stalled in the Senate as of Dec. 5, 2025, and Gennis said she would contact Senator Eldridge’s office and Senate Counsel to follow up and seek progress.
No formal vote was recorded at the meeting regarding additional steps beyond the chair's follow-up contact request. Trustees earlier worked with the Select Board to respond to Senate Counsel’s questions about the petition before sending the certified materials.
