Staff told the board that the cemetery commission still needed to make decisions on cremation niches, plantings and the maintenance-storage building siting, and asked for a continuance to allow those details to be resolved.
A motion to continue the hearing to Dec. 1, 2025, was made and seconded. The board voted in favor by voice vote. In the transcript the motion and vote were recorded with members saying they were in favor; no member recorded a 'no' vote in the audio record.
