Planning commission reviews logistics-use zoning draft, records plan withdrawal and appoints zoning officer

The Engineer reported several recent Board of Supervisors actions: acceptance of time extensions for Extra Storage LLC (to Sept. 28, 2024), Dollar General – Mertztown (to Aug. 13, 2024) and Mountain Village Section II (to Sept. 30, 2024); acceptance of a time extension for the 330 W. Weis Street lot-line adjustment to Aug. 31, 2024; final-plan approval authorization for the Brandywine Heights Area School District athletic renovation project; and authorization for the solicitor to advertise the opening period for the Agricultural Area Security District in August 2024.
The Commission recorded that the applicant has notified the Township that it is withdrawing the plan for 330 West Weis Street; the Engineer and Solicitor recommended the applicant submit a written withdrawal letter to document the action. The Board of Supervisors has appointed Bradley Pflum of LTL Consultants, Ltd. as Township Zoning Officer. There were no public comments. The meeting adjourned at 8:40 p.m. on a motion by Commissioner Greg Kupar, seconded by Commissioner Chris Moore.
