The presenter noted that the timeout language is no longer limited to special education students and added specifics about handling and follow-up.
Board members discussed the importance of keeping policy review current and agreed to address policy committee assignments during the July reorganization meeting. No vote was taken; the item remains at first reading and will return for further consideration.
