Representatives of the Audubon Fair Board told the county supervisors on March 4 they plan to begin the process of transferring the Agri-hall liquor license to the Fair Board.
Taylor Hansen, Tyre Vokt and Mackenzie Felt-Lewis represented the Fair Board in asking about the steps necessary to move the liquor license currently held by Doug Hilsabeck; the minutes state Hilsabeck will no longer hold the license as of June 2025. The Fair Board sought guidance on how to initiate the transfer so the organization can hold the license going forward. The Board of Supervisors listened to the Fair Board’s request but no formal county action on the license transfer was recorded in the minutes.
The request was discussed during the regular meeting; supervisors proceeded with other agenda items including personnel resolutions and budget reviews.
