Recorder Miranda Bills told the board the county Wellness Committee will host a lunch-and-learn next week featuring a presentation from Mercy; the committee is also planning a potential walking challenge for employees and families with details to be shared by email.
EMA Director Tyler Thygesen announced a tabletop exercise on severe-weather alertness scheduled for next Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. in the courthouse courtroom and encouraged all available employees to attend.
Engineer Mitch Rydl reported Secondary Roads crews have been clearing recent snowfall, said five applicants had been interviewed for the Weed Commissioner/Roadside Manager position with a hire to be decided later in the week, and reminded attendees that a pre-bid meeting for the Lark Avenue project would be held at 1:00 p.m. Rydl said he will attend the ISAC conference later in the week.
