The Sheboygan County Board of Supervisors on June 16 concurred with a slate of re-appointments to the Local Emergency Planning Committee and sent three newly introduced items to committee for review.
The County Administrator presented the re-appointments, which included representatives listed for local law enforcement, the Sheboygan Fire Department, an elected state official, emergency management, health, first aid, and local media. Supervisor Koch moved to concur with the administrator’s re-appointments; Supervisor Goehring seconded and the motion carried on a unanimous roll call vote.
Later in the meeting the Clerk introduced new items under Rule IV. Resolution No. 05 (2026/27), described as authorizing a land swap for a redevelopment project adjacent to the Shoreland 400 Rail Trail, was referred to the Executive Committee for review. Ordinance No. 01 (2026/27), which would repeal and recreate Chapter 45 concerning meal and mileage reimbursement, and Ordinance No. 02 (2026/27), proposing an amendment to Chapter 50 to increase the public bidding threshold, were both referred to the Finance Committee.
