Livingston County board approves $3.34 million claims abstract, awards water-tower repair contract and adopts budget amendments

The Livingston County Board of Supervisors on May 27 approved a package of fiscal and contracting actions, including payment of more than $3.3 million in claims, a water-tower repair contract and multiple budget amendments.
Mr. Knapp presented and moved adoption of Resolution No. 2026-179 to approve Abstract of Claims #5B dated May 27, 2026 in the total amount of $3,337,224.56; the roll call recorded Ayes 3,768, Noes 0, with supervisors Wadsworth, Devine and DiSalvo recorded absent, and the resolution was adopted.
Mr. Deming introduced Resolution No. 2026-180, accepting the bid from Pittsburg Tank & Tower Maintenance Co., Inc. for OSHA repairs and preventative maintenance on county water towers and authorizing a contract not to exceed $310,000. The resolution states the funding source as CIP/local share and notes the budgeted status as "No" on the resolution form. The board voted Ayes 3,768, Noes 0, with the same three supervisors absent; the resolution was adopted.
Mr. Knapp then presented Resolution No. 2026-181 directing the Livingston County Treasurer to implement approved 2026 budget amendments for the Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation (two entries), Probation and Records Management. The board recorded Ayes 3,768, Noes 0, and the resolution was adopted with the three absences noted.
