Beardstown council clears $225,823.55 payment for USDA sewer project, approves $91,220 change order and equipment purchase

Payment Resolution No. 7, moved by Alderperson Dawn Seward and seconded by Chris Baer, authorized a payment of $225,823.55 to Hood Construction Group Midwest LLC for work on the USDA sanitary sewer project. The resolution passed unanimously by roll call (8-0).
Separately, the council approved Change Order No. 1 for the same USDA sewer project, a $91,220 increase to the contract. The motion, made by Ron Culves and seconded by Eric Harbin, passed 7-1 on roll call; Alderperson Chris Baer cast the lone no vote.
