The Broken Bow City Council on Aug. 13 approved a conditional use permit allowing Justin French to operate Big Bidz, an online auction service, at 625 North B Street. Zoning Administrator Jacob Holcomb told the council the Planning Commission recommended approval and that the property is zoned residential; Holcomb said Big Bidz will use the building as an office only, will not store equipment on-site, and should not generate additional traffic.
Holcomb also explained the conditional use permit will remain valid for the duration of the property's ownership. The council closed the hearing and approved the permit by roll call vote with Councilmembers Russ Smith and Luke Wassom voting aye. No additional conditions were recorded in the minutes.
