The Governing Board of Oracle Elementary School District No.2 voted March 10 to adopt new and continuing English language arts and mathematics curricula for the 2025–26 school year.
Superintendent Jessica Nehrmeyer recommended adoption of the SAVVAS EnVision math curriculum for a three-year period based on stakeholder feedback and recommendations from the Mountain Vista Math Growth Team. The Board approved the three‑year adoption.
On English language arts, the Board approved continuation of CKLA for grades K–2, continued use of SAVVAS ELA for grades 4–8 and adoption of SAVVAS ELA for grade 3 for five years, effective 2025–26.
Board members described the approvals as the result of stakeholder and team recommendations; motions to adopt each curriculum were moved and seconded and recorded as approved "all in favor, motion carried." The curriculum adoptions will be implemented by school instructional leaders and district administration in preparation for the coming school year.
