Board member Wendy Odell raised an item to continue the district's conversation about school bus stop locations and their proximity to homes of registered sex offenders. The minutes note that Mr. and Mrs. Flintoff had been invited to present at a January 2025 regular meeting but did not attend the February special meeting; Mrs. Nehrmeyer agreed to contact the Flintoffs to check whether they will present at a March special meeting.
Mrs. Odell specifically asked the board to continue discussion about the issue. Mrs. Nehrmeyer agreed to bring additional information in March regarding the district’s liability and possible solutions. The minutes do not record a motion or vote on changes to bus-stop locations at this meeting.
The board did not adopt any policy or change at this meeting; the item was recorded for further study and follow-up at a future meeting.
