"Our investigators should be allowed to do more than what they're doing," Stamps said, adding that the office should not be "an extension of the complaint department for the utilities." He said staff should be more aggressive in regulating and checking that project implementation meets commission rulings.
Stamps also thanked colleagues and staff for hosting a C-suite conference for regulators from other states and territories, saying it was a success and helped showcase Mississippi.
