Leacock supervisors approve minutes, bills and reports; manager, public works give updates

At its Feb. 16 meeting, the Leacock Township Board of Supervisors unanimously approved the Feb. 3 meeting minutes, the Bills to Pay list and the Treasurer’s Report.
Manager Chris Slaymaker told the board that the LCATS dinner is scheduled for March 31 and staff should notify Kirsten at Salsbury by March 17. He also reported that the township’s annual audits are underway. James Houser delivered the Public Works report, stating that the township sold a 2010 Mack chassis and that the Bird-In-Hand genset installation would begin the following day.
Resident Glenn Siefken of Watson Run requested a meeting with Manager Slaymaker to review what work remains for street dedication; Slaymaker said a November walk-through produced a punch list from the engineer and curb work awaits warmer weather. Zoning Officer Joe Kennedy reported that previously noted zoning violations have met with him and are now complying.
All routine motions recorded at the meeting carried by unanimous vote. The meeting adjourned at 4:55 P.M.
