Staff reports: recreation programs, Par 3 course readiness and warming house season

Chair Blanks shared written comments from Student Representative Evangeline Fuentes. Commissioners provided brief park updates and observations: Commissioner Muller has been walking parks and thanked staff; Commissioner Ramirez will run concessions at Mendakota for the Two Rivers Athletic Association and supports the Hagstrom-King project; Commissioner Van Lith and Commissioner Toth noted anticipation of more daylight for park use and reminded drivers to be cautious as children are outdoors more in warmer weather.
The commission did not take action on programming counts or Par 3 opening dates at this meeting; staff will bring operational details to future meetings as the season progresses.
