Plainfield — The Plainfield Redevelopment Commission approved a trio of consent items on March 2, including the February 2, 2026 meeting minutes, the Fourth Amendment to the Airtech Workforce Project Agreement and a Project Agreement for Roots Market and Eyrie Events.
Vice President Jean Renk called for approval of the minutes; Mr. Lance Angle moved to approve and Mr. Kingseed seconded. The motion carried with an affirmative voice vote by all members present.
The commission then approved the Fourth Amendment to the Airtech Workforce Project Agreement as a consent item. Ms. Renk asked staff if there were questions; none were raised. Mr. Kingseed moved to approve and Mr. Angle seconded; the motion passed on a unanimous voice vote.
Cam Starne of TAFT presented the Project Agreement for Roots Market and Eyrie Events. According to the presentation, the promissory note tied to the agreement will not be issued unless the property owner completes the project according to the agreement’s terms. Mr. Bridget moved to approve the Project Agreement; Mr. Kingseed seconded. The motion passed with all present voting aye.
The meeting included no contested votes and no conditions beyond the promissory-note contingency described by the presenter. The commission adjourned; its next regular meeting is April 9, 2026, at 5:30 p.m.
