Engineer reports on 2026 road program, sidewalk bidding and Mill Street demolition

He reported a minor revision is needed for Madison Avenue stormwater work because of a conflict with a sewer lateral, and that Springfield Road sidewalk contract documents are now on PennBid with a bid opening set for June 25.
Councilors asked whether the sidewalk work or alternates would affect the liquid-fuel timeline tied to county aid; the engineer said sidewalk work should not impact the road program timing and noted projects must be completed and MS-999 forms submitted and approved by the end of October to avoid risking county aid.
