Cocoa Beach approves SRF loan amendment to extend project timeline

The Cocoa Beach City Commission voted to approve Amendment No. 1 to State Revolving Fund loan agreement WW0506-0, giving additional time to complete planning, design and construction work on the related water infrastructure project.
Public Works representative Brad Kalsup presented the amendment and confirmed it revises certain agreement provisions to extend deadlines. A commissioner asked whether higher labor or material rates during the extension could affect grant matching; Kalsup said, "It'll be the same," indicating the grant match will remain in place.
The motion to approve the SRF amendment was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote; the meeting record shows unanimous assent.
