Bisbee council accepts Councilmember Reynolds’s resignation; sets June 16 appointment meeting

Under the city charter, the council opened a 15-day application period immediately (the period cannot exceed 30 days) and scheduled a selection meeting for the second council meeting in June, June 16. Mayor Budge noted the appointee will serve a nearly full two-year term. The motion passed unanimously.
Councilmembers thanked Reynolds for her service during remarks; Councilmember Trish Damon called Reynolds a valued colleague. Staff were directed to post application instructions and timelines.
