Members discussed signage needs, including stop signs, "no carts beyond this point" and "watch for pedestrians" messages, and the council directed staff to investigate ordering permit stickers and to finalize an annual registration fee period (proposed January–December) prior to a future ordinance vote. No motion or final action was taken on the ordinance at the Nov. 11 meeting.
Next steps identified by the council include procuring permit stickers, confirming fee timing, and producing a finalized ordinance draft that specifies crossings, signage and enforcement procedures for council consideration.
