The Crawford City Council approved a conditional offer Nov. 24 to make Air Link memberships available to city employees if three or more employees choose to enroll.
Robert Fisher, an Air Link representative, described the annual household membership and how enrollment and billing would work; employees who already subscribe could join the group when they renew. The council approved the plan with a motion by Council Member Dianne Gaston, seconded by Christopher Dean. Council directed that billing would be handled by payroll deduction and the city would write a check to Air Link for the group plan.
The approval is contingent on at least three employees opting into the program; the council did not approve city-paid memberships or other subsidies. Implementation details and enrollment logistics will be handled administratively.
