The Planning Commission voted Feb. 2 to rezone a parcel within Bison Business Park from agricultural to BP (Business Park) zoning.
Agent Brad Evans (AVI) said the rezoning would expand existing BP zoning and that an interested user — discussed in preliminary terms as supporting data‑center activity — prompted the request. Staff noted the future land‑use map designates the area industrial and that BP is consistent with adjacent BP parcels; staff recommended approval.
There were no public comments opposing the change and the commission approved the rezoning on a recorded vote. Staff said community‑facility fees will be charged at building permit time rather than at platting under recent code edits.
