"By participating in this program, Pine County is eligible to receive 14 cents per capita reimbursement, which based on our population is approximately $4,266.08," the presenter said.
Staff reviewed sample 2025 results across departments: five fatal crashes and 51 injuries for public safety; public works plow times averaging nine hours; property-records turnaround metrics and varied assessment ratios; and a recycling rate decline from 18.25% to 12.7% in 2025. Commissioners moved, seconded, and approved resolution 2026‑24 to continue participation.
