The superintendent framed the work as honoring commitments in the district improvement bond package and emphasized multiple near-term deliverables: lighting, painting, flooring, playground equipment and classroom and preschool space improvements. “We are already moving at full pace in regards to honoring the promises to our community,” he said.
Board members who spoke during reports described a smooth start to the school year, noting functioning air conditioning, buses and custodial readiness. The board did not direct new actions in the meeting; items were reported and accepted as district updates.
